Hello friends, hope you all had a safe winter.

We had our first hunt of the year a couple of days ago here in Massachusetts at John's 1683 property. Found this coin, but can't quite make out the date's last digit! Definitely a draped bust large cent though. Enjoy and happy hunting! ~Lisa & John

Awesome find! Looks like a 96, but hopefully you'll know for sure- Congrats!

Thanks, Jeff! It would be cool if it was a '96. Afraid to clean it tho! -L&J

Hey Scrappyyyy! How the heck are ya? Thanks for chiming in. We agree with you about the style one hair. Tempted to try to clean that date up! We look forward to seeing your finds this season. Cheers. -Lisa & John

Things are well. No freezing this winter and minimal snow worked in my favor. Cleaning that may be a tough one to resist, by you have a good amount of detail and may not want to risk worsening it. Anywho

Nice Draped Bust LC!! Always great to find 1700s! Congrats and HH

Thanks, Diggin! Jeepers--love that gold Indianhead in your signature line! We are still waiting for gold.... -L&J

Scrappy--minimal snow? What's that? ;-) -L&J
