Great Looking coin! Variety is Sheldon-77.....very scarce.
 

Great finds! Hard to get such an early US copper in well preserved condition. The brass ball-shaped find - possible sword pommel? I can't really be certain from the single photo.
 

Wow! Dream hunt of old coins. If I find one oldie I consider that an awesome weekend, can't imagine a handful. Let us know if you have an idea on the ID for the brass ball piece.
 

I believe it is a handle for something, it still has wood in the end. It is also hollow - P6270001.JPGP6270002.JPG
