Detector(s) used
DEUS 11 Fisher F75ltd,TDI Minelab Excailber
Primary Interest:
Relic Hunting
So I had some play time before work yesterday so I decided to visit another hunted out site with my Deus 2. I'm starting to get this detector dialed in so I seem to be finding a little more deeper trinkets. Yesterday I found some sleeve buttons, regular buttons, and this 1794 lettered edge, liberty cap half cent. The 1796 that is the Holy Grail of half cents. Maybe next time?????

Holy smokes that’s a great coin; in great shape too. Couldn’t be too many of them kicking around. Congratulations on an awesome find.
Not too many around but I did manage to pull this one out of there a few years ago!

Spectacular find !! Huge CONGRATS !! She's beautiful !!
1794 copper "half" cent. That's when money was real.
Comparing it to a 2022 Lincoln Cent over 200 years later, it's hard to imagine the evolution of the "Cent". Nice going "cannonball".

I was about to comment on how that may have been one of the finest LC half cents I've ever seen found, and then I saw the pic of the other one you found- THAT was/is/always will be the nicest half cent I've ever seen found- Congrats on both!!

Any half cent is a nice find, but a Liberty Cap HC in great shape is a spectacular find. Congrats!
