Dug this today along with some buttons and lots of trash. Almost gave up on a site that didn't produce much last year but I just got the at pro and figured I'd give it a try. I'm really liking the at pro and this spring weather. These are mid hunt photos. If it cleans up ill post better photos. Thanks for looking.

that's a beauty right there. the atp does nicely.

Those are always great to find, but I wouldn't strip the patina off it. looks good to me.

Nice early copper:occasion14:=ED

Nice find, can't wait to break the 1700's barrier, some day!

That's a fine looking coin! Excellent find. I love the detail, its always nice when your coppers aren't toasted.

Sweet coin:headbang:

For once in my life i will agree with IP and not strip the patina on that,,,

Maybe dry brush one side a little..

OMG that's gotta be my favorite coin in the world. I've even been considering getting a tattoo of this coin.

KILLER find! But why would you say that you are going to "clean it up" more? It IS clean! And about as nice as it would get!

Best Wishes,

Buck

That's nice, I wish we had old country like that in South West Fla.
