1782 reale

Got out the other night to a spot that has yiedled some nice old colonial coppers and flat buttons as well as some other relics. It is on site of a house I helped build and the owner jsut scraped off some top soil so I was there with my M6. Mosquitoes drove me after a short while but was THRILLED to find this 1782 reale.

Sweet coin! We don't see those very often at all out here in the West. I'm sure some have been found, but not quite like on the East coast.

Now go get yourself some Off! to ward away the 'squitos and get back to finding more of that beautiful Spanish silver!
