I had a amazing hunt today with some friends at a new cellar hole property. We all did very well and all went home with old coppers and old silvers. My find of the day and i still cant believe i found one is a 1778 mexico city mint 8 reales. I never thought i would get one of these. It was a good signal but i had to work for it under tree roots. I knew what it was though as soon as it. It is in great shape and the pictures don’t do it justice at all. Thanks for looking! [emoji2][emoji106]

Wow, that is an hard-to-find coin that's also in terrific condition. Banner-worthy in my book. Big congrats!

Awesome. Always wondered the circumstances where a coin that size could be lost. Especially considering how much money that was back then. Lost in a snow storm or intentionally buried perhaps but who cares its yours now

Wow K1DDO. There's not likely a lot of those sitting in the dirt in Nova Scotia but you nailed it. Well done sir. Well done.

Very, very nice coin. Largest I have ever dug is a 2 reale cob. Doesn't Carlos have a big nose? Bet that signal blew your ears off.

Wow. That thing is beautiful. Congrats!

The big 8 in such an awesome condition...Wow...Big congratulations on a stellar find!

That ain’t big silver....that’s HUGE silver!:headbang: sweet!

Awesome coin
You killed it dude.
Congrats

What a chunk of silver these are! :hello2: Congrats not walking away leaving that overload signal in the ground...
