It's more than likely an iron ship spike.
I found it near a shipwreck metal detecting the beach.
I've found a few.

The last name of the guy who made it. We couldn't find a exact date on it.

That's not a name.
That's to signify the company that made it had a patent on its design.
Look closely at and around that..there is probably a date.
