After work I headed back to a site next to the site I dug my Talbot,Allum & Lee New York condor token and the CT copper yesterday.Dug quite a few square nails around the lip of the hole and a suspender buckle. About 5 feet from the edge of cellar up against a small tree sapling I got a 78 VDI. Expecting a old bottle cap at 2 inches I flip the plug and stuck in the bottom of the plug I see a 1749 Spanish silver pillar real staring at me.My 1st pillar Spanish ever. Gotta love this hobby!

These 1749 coins were shipped over directly from the mint to our shores as payment for helping out the British. I have a lot of 1749s in great condition. My nicest Spanish is that exact same coin you just found. Congrats on that beauty bud
