Got about 4 hours to hunt before work today. It's about to start so I got to post fast.

Got 4 silvers. The 1917 and 1920 were in the same hole. The '64 Washington and '64 Roosie couldn't have been father away from one another.

The Indian was about 6" deep. It's going to clean up well.

The KG was a wicked choppy signal. 12-41 ish. Kept digging an digging and finally got it around 10" down. Phew. It's mid cleaning so please excuse the bad pics. The 1747 is barely legible since she's toasty but I'm glad I could pull a date. I don't know if I can get a pic that could clearly show the date. I'll post better pics after work. Awesome finds! It was great hunt.

Nice Steve!!!
Always love sites with wide range of years..
Just never know whata coming out next..

Agreed. It took quite a few trips here before it started producing but hopefully it'll continue. It has the years so hopefully it'll keep producing the goods.

But man what a choppy signal that KG was!

Hope you hammer out some more early silvers there bud. Those sites are fun when they've got history going back that far. Especially if the ground is pretty much left alone and there's not 8" of fill. How big is this spot?

I hope I find more old silver there too. Maybe a few trimes, seated, a couple busts, that'll do. Lol

The spot is about 5 acres.

Those KG's are tricky with those dates. They are so small and delicate. I only have 3 I can read.

Yeah you don't often get a date on coppers from that age (GEO II), I found quite a few, and maybe like you have 3 (or so) with readable dates. If memory serves I think my first was the best a pretty good 1730.

Anyway good job beating the odds.

A few pics of the "cleaned" KG. Pretty toasty. The IHP is stellar.

I usually don't take pics of buffalos since they usually look terrible, but here's my best buff ever. Found yesterday with the rest of 'em...1920

Thanks for Lookign'
Steve

Hey thanks DD. I like this forum because everyone inspires everyone else with their finds. You never know what's in that next hole. Good luck this Friday!
