Metal Detecting
I was eager to bring my new Deus out to my original honey hole and see if it could find some things that my AT Pro missed. I must have hit the spot with my Garrett at least 20 times. The Deus did not disappoint. I hardly know how to use the damn thing yet and I was able to pull up a handful of 18th century buttons and one silver button with a hand stippled flower on it. The second target that it detected was found by my wife and turned out to be a well worn 1723 Woods Hibernia Farthing. (CORRECTION!! I am being told it is actually a Rosa Americana)I was glad that she was able to find such a cool find and know the exciting feeling when you pull a piece of history out of the ground.

I switched between a few different modes (mostly GM Power and Deus Fast). We only detected for about an hour but I am pretty impressed so far with what the deus AND MY WIFE could find, that my AT Pro and myself could not :laughing7: IMG_1188[1].JPGIMG_1194[1].PNGIMG_1195[1].PNG

I am still learning the deus as well, but it is so much fun learning! My finds get better everytime.

That's not a Hibernia... it's a Rosa Americana... much better!

Thank you for help IDing! I thought I had narrowed it down but alas I stand corrected. Thanks!

nice finds! Ive had my deus for a month now and I love. wait till you learn how to program it then you will see what it will really do. I had the pro too and went back over the some of the places with the deus and the same thing happened more finds came out of the ground. congrats on the finds
