Hit a few field permissions from several years ago. Found the half on my second hole of the day while swinging towards the first site. Only keepers at the site were a few flats including half of a nice etched tombac and a 1907 IHP. Second site was a few more flats and what I at first thought was a KG III turned out to be my first Woods Hibernia:headbang:

Great job on the Walker if I found that woods coin I would need a Diaper that is freakin cool it looks like an ancient Roman coin to me anyway wow Congrats on a great hunt you seem to do very well keep those awesome finds coming Tommy

Some seriously awesome finds- Congrats!

A great bunch of finds! The coins are amazing and that tombac is a real winner! Looks like a fun & productive day!

Nice coins!!!!! I just recently found the same 1723 Hibernia half a few weeks ago!! 297 years old!!! Congrats!!!

Very nice finds! That walker came out really nice! The woods Hibernia is awesome too. I found my first one recently. I'm sure you realize this but they made smaller halfpennies. Smaller than the later KGII's and III's that I'm used to finding so I thought it had to be a farthing. I need to find a regular KG I to compare to the woods. Haven't found one of those yet.

Thanks. This one just about completes my collection of all British colonial copper types but theyre always toasty so they dont really get me excited like early silvers and buckles do.

As crazy as it sounds you'll find another. At first I thought it was a rare coin. I actually read from a legitimate source that it was doubtful that they circulated here. Obviously not true because they do come up here and there. My friend has found two. Have you found a Woods Rosa Americana? Those are harder to find because the ground wrecks them for the most part. My first goal was to find KGI, II, III. Now I need to find a Charles copper, William and mary copper, William copper, Hibernia... basically still a lot to find!
