I know what I have but hoping someone can give me a NOE variety rating and any information on the cobs.
These were part of a once in a lifetime spill find. 20150107_113202.jpg20150107_113138.jpg

Man I missed this thread. That's a crazy find! I truly hope you knew what you had because even in poor condition some of the coins are just so rare that the condition becomes less of a factor in value. Wow what a find. In 8 weeks when this damn snow is gone I'll be hot on the trail of my next Mass silver. A spill would be something truly amazing. Congrats on such an incredible find

Thanks Ahab can i hold you to the ground being snow free in only eight weeks? I have sent the Oak Trees off to Stacks for the March auction in Baltimore, see what they bring.I have seen about 40 Mass. silver coins found by detecting buddys over the years your Pine tree is one of the best condition ones i have seen.

Thank you Rhode Hog. I was thrilled to find one with so much detail. The dream of course is to have a few of them by the end of this journey but we shall see. I'm blown away that you and the fellas have found so many. You guys obviously do your homework and are relentless. I really hope you do well in the Stacks Auctions. I have a buddy that works for them on occasion. He gets called in as an outside contractor basically when they have big collections come in and they want some help. I would only use Stacks as they have the most high end clientele and they get the word out and get em hyped up. Please let us know your results
