1600s buckle piece? LC, 2 center and more

Got out for about 4 hours today. I believe the buckle piece is early, hope the experts can help. Only my second 2 center, the other is 64. Tent rope tensioner is a first for me. Had a great day with beautiful weather. Good luck to all. Art

Absolutely not. I've only been hunting colonial sites for about 20 years, and the large majority of the 17th century buckles I've found have been recovered in the last 5 years. Most years are double digit, and buckles I found in just one recent season are pictured below. But this past year I did not hunt much due to a variety of personal reasons plus crop and farmer issues so my totals were rather low. But bottom line - when you put in the time for a dedicated research effort you're gonna be rewarded with plenty of early, high quality finds.
