Hello friends!
Today I went out to hunt in the southern fruit fields in my area, started the day digging up a couple of barrel taps and coins 19th century and later began the Medieval finds, first a little Hammered was a of the Queen Juana Mint of the city Zaragoza ,and then two more ... in total are three small Hammered and a beautiful silver thimble :o , a silver medal and some things more than usual.
Greetings! :hello:

Hello cntrydncr1! :hello:
When I hunt it was too dark and I did not realize it was so beautiful till I get home.

Hello Hispan! :hello:
Sorry I missed your post on this one . . . those are some very beautiful finds! :o
Love the spigots, but by far these two are my favourite!
When would you say that the horse dates from? :icon_scratch:
Is it pewter or bronze, it's hard to tell?

Happy Holidays and all the best to you and your family Hispan!
Dave

Hispan, you finds and pics are some of my favorites (of course, I love seeing anything someone else finds! Probably why I post my junk). If you consider that an average day, I'd sure like to be along on one of your hunts you would consider outstanding!! Best wishes and keeps those pictures coming.

Oh yeah, I really liked the horse and the medallion!!

awesome dig hispan !! if i came home with that much treasure in a hunt i would be a sick puppy with a metal detector merry christmas scott

The right hand 'lock' is a late Victorian piece from a Ladies Corset (many of them down the back to tie in the waist) :icon_thumright:

Good Day overall :notworthy:

Awesome finds Hispan, keep it up! :)

Do you ever find Moorish relics or coins in your area?

The normal awesome finds, always enjoy your posts! HH, Mike

Nice finds! That silver medal is shaped like a Star of David, and it appears to have a mezuzah attached to it. If this is the case, at one time there would have been a piece of parchment inside with the Jewish prayer "Shema Yisrael". I doubt the parchment would have survived this long period in the ground, but you should be able to see the cavity that once contained it.

Very nice finds...... HH
