Yepper I found it here in Missouri.... now before you treasure hunters have anurisms I dont think it was lost in 1573 here in Missouri lol lol... I got it at a civil war encampment site, also found an 1801 2 reale "very worn", 1853 3 center F +", and a flying eagle cent "destoyed", I think it was a good luck piece or something like that. its an Elizabeth I silver six-pence. hope you like it..jd

That's amazing and great finds! My avatar is a 1572 silver Elizabeth 1st 2 pence I believe, had to go to England to find it though, LOL! Congrats on the silver hammered and HH, Mike

that may be the most amazing thing i have ever seen come from america! the friggin pilgrims probably dropped it!! it just cant get much older than that around here.........unless you are talking about indian relics. congrats on an amazing find!

Nice JD....I agree with Ashleen...Hunt all day and no working! You sure found a good spot to hit with coins like that coming out of the ground! You must have enough for retirement by now! ;)
 

Very nice find. Don't think I'll find many of those around here! That's what keeps this hobby so exciting - you never know what you are going to find.

Nice work.....what can I say!!!! Those old coins are just the cream of the crop...and finding them is the best of all.....keep up the good work and mabe someday we can hook up and do some serious detecting......... ;D
