14KGold Pearl Necklace: Thrift Store Find.

I 'found' this today in a thrift store. My wife and I then took it to a local jewelers and he tested it. Its real 14 K gold. He couldn't 'test' the pearls.

I had this on earlier today as a 'bidding' contest for two hours. No one even bid the starting price of 99 cents.

So I've decided to post it here and ask if anyone wants to trade something for it. Or if they really want it..make me an offer.

The way to test for a real pearl is to rub it against your front teeth. If it feels smooth it is not a real pearl. If it feels gritty or sandy it is real.

I have gotten a few small items from thrift stores, crackle glass/kitchenware etc at good prices
but the jewelry eludes me. Hopefully the end-of-the-year rummage yard sales will produce.
