It has been a while since I have had a good hunt. Today I finally had a nice hunt with pl8man in between all the rain. We both found the bling today! Towards the end of my hunt I dug another target that came up just like a lot of the foil I had dug, except this time it was a gold ring! It has some kind of red stone in it and I can see a 14K stamp inside. I was so thrilled at the site of that gold popping up, and someone called me as I was about to take a picture with my phone, still in its dirt "cacoon" but I guess I didn't. Got a pic right after I pulled it ou though. It has a crack at the bottom, which worried me at first, but it looks like the ring was resized and it split at the weld. What is weird is that I still haven't found a silver ring this year. . partly due to not getting out enough though.... Happy Hunting All!!
