All Treasure Hunting
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the woods, my Equinox was singing and giving up the goods!

Wow ok sorry for my terrible rhyme Lol but it's the truth. Found probably my best ring ever! 14k gold Freemason ring with a Diamond! It weighs 13 grams Woo-hoo! It rang up as a nice 21-22 on the 800 at about 4 inches. Way better than the penny I was expecting.

Christmas came earlier than expected today. I would have been just fine with my 14 wheat penny spill with surprise merc, but this ring takes the day.

Enjoy some pics with your egg nog!

Merry Christmas. Happy New Year and Happy Hunting everyone!

Beautiful and my guess is its from the 30s? What a great Xmas gift from the Dirt Gods!1
I'll have to look thru some of my pics, got a few older rings that have a similar look. Almost going to say its ArtDeco?Congrands!!
Thanks OBN! If I had to guess I think you are on the right track. My buddy has found a ton of Barbers where this one was found. It's stamped 14k on the inside and that is it for any marks on it.

I guess I’m NWO too then; I wasn’t aware. 😂
Nice Master Mason ring. It seems to be an unusual design considering the applied center decorative facia.
It would be interesting to find its age.
Congrats!👍🏼
I know people in the Masons it these days is more of a drunk people's club lol. Most are barly on the level lol.
The center is indeed riveted to the ring. Not sure if it's silver or white gold. Underneath there is black enamel which is why it was attached in that way.

I hand dropped it last night at dinner to the Mason in the family. Wish you could have seen the look on his face 🤣 "Why don't you let me hold on to that for you" is what he said lol. He's a nice guy. He actually gave me his old Ace250 a few years back. Really got me going in this hobby.

Dang that thought never crossed my mind. That would be awesome. I'll take it to get inspected somewhere once all the holiday madness subsidies.

Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well. And yeah 99.99% of my finds have been in my home state lol. Only ever detected elsewhere in Florida and Mexico.

Sounds like your experience is a lot different than mine. But I’ve only been a member for 37 years. You’ve probably got better insight on it. LOL
The ones I knew were lol maybe a California thing

Took me a few days but this is what I came up with, No doubt I would dated it around the 30's and I would bet money the crest is...... White gold.

First ring....... a good friend of mine (In Chicago) found, I believe his to be just about the same time period as yours.
diamond just about the same placement, all white gold 18k, not sure but looks like it has some yellow gold inlays also..

Very nice, however the 2nd ring is not Masonic. Jr OUAM (at the top of the face) is the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. The design does not have a capital G (as Masonic Lodge design) in the center of the square and compasses.
It has an arm with a sledge (tool).

Wow congrats to your friend on that first one. That is very ornate. That second one isn't bad either.

Good eye Blackfoot. I would have thought that was Masonic. The arm and hammer looks a lot like a "G"

Thank You! I figured it had something to do with the Mason's since it had the square n compass. Great to know and makes it even more special that its different. Something this spot never fails to produce
