THAT ONES A BEAUTY :icon_thumleft:

Wow, your 13th and I'm still looking for my first one. Lol
Sweet, Congrats!!

That's a nice one, very well made and not crushed like so many dug thimbles are. Incidentally my best relic find EVER is a silver thimble. Congratulations!

I haven't run into one either. To be honest, forgot those were even a thing. Apparently a big thing where the OP is detecting.

Awesome thimble. My first thimble was Sterling, since then about a half a doz aluminum ones, and two tiny colonial ones. Love finding them.

That thimble is a beauty, congrats. I've recovered only one silver thimble and I gave that one to the homeowner. I wish I had at least photographed it, but I didn't. Of course that was many years back and I figured I'd be finding many more. Wrong! Congrats on finding your 13th.

These are the others the one in the middle has a gold wrap on the bottom20170213_212438.jpg

I'm never disappointed when I click on your posts P-man. Excellent thimble. I have 1 silver thimble, and 30 brass. Lol

It looks hand engraved to me. That's a winner-winner-lobster-dinner!

Cheers

Thanks Scrappy I appreciate it
