Me and knorrski hit the 1300 mark over the weekend in total coins. mostly clad but a V nickle, barber dime, and a couple of wheats and mercs thrown in.Also found 13 rings this year including 3 gold,so hopefully we are on track for a great year!
But it's the company that counts Besides how about an old oilboom town with a population of 30,000 that is now prarie grass and pasture. Even Onion might be pressed to find rings here. Although I know a guy that found a $5 gold laying right on top of the ground.
Outstanding!! I gotta move, we are forcasted to get 2" to 4" of the white stuff tomorrow. This is getting old now that I have a detector. I cannot wait to have thawed and dry soil under feet!
75 degrees, sunny with a cool breeze. What is white stuff? Hey guys .. that Oklahoma trip sounds great but from the number of responses he'll have to butcher a cow! Jim Cal
Not a problem, I'll just drop below the Red River and rustle a couple--I'm sure Texas can spare a few. But need Jeff of PA to bring a coalmine of charcoal.
