Is there good money in finding silver and selling it to refineries? Is there benefits in keeping antique sterling silver and selling it on ebay if its a specific brand,

I bought an entire set of sterling from the early 1950's. It was never used. I tracked down the maker and pattern name and contacted a company that sells sterling to fill in missing pieces. There offer was less than melt. They are a major company and there selling prices reflect antique prices.

I will not give their name because they make themselves sound like they are paying you a good price for antique silverware when most likely they just melt it down. I could do that and make more money.
