Today's forecast for more than a foot of snow has Pottsville City Administrator Thomas A. Palamar scratching his head.
"We have to find some room to put it," Palamar said Wednesday.
The Feb. 10 storm dumped more than 20 inches on the county. City workers scooped it off the streets and carted it to the parking lot at the JFK Recreation Complex. The snow banks bordering the tennis courts Wednesday were about as tall as the pool's one-story concession stand.
"It's actually surreal when you look at that over there," Palamar said.

Heard this Yesterday From a Farmers Alminac
Not sure which one.
they called for 2 Feb. snow storms within one week or less of each other.........each one dumping just under 2ft each on us......................they then called for a small drop on the last week of february followed by a week off of snow, then the mother of all storms, between 30-45 inches in the span of a day and a half during the first weekend of march.
the farmers over in the valley are going nuts because it has been accurate thus far and they all know if we get that it won't only impact us, but will impact their free range animals along with pushing back their planting dates, resulting in less crop harvest this year.
the deer and other animals at our place have packed on more weight than i've seen in years.......i dont' like seeing that because they usually know more than we do...........
This Info seems to be all over Berks & Schuylkill County.
Everyone I Mentioned it to said they Heard it Also
I'm posting it here Hoping I Jinx it
& It don't Happen.
My roof won't take 4 More Feet of
the polar icecaps melting
maybe if we Cut down the Rain forests
We wouldn't Get so much Rain & Snow.
I want a 3 year Drought !
