11 For 11 & 12 For 12!! 7 Silver ~ 2 Washingtons, 2 Mercs, 3 Rosies.

Hello My Friends!!

I am happy to say that my consecutive silver streak remained alive today, making 12 straight hunts so far with the SE Pro Coil. I decided to head over to a park that I've had the most luck at this year for the oldies. It never ceases to disappoint me. I'm in disbelief when I think that today I recovered my 89th silver coin from this park alone this year. Last year, I didn't pay much attention to this park(only 2 silver) because I had so many other parks that I was finding the oldies in. I couldn't have asked for a better 3 hr. hunt today. I was hearing plenty of deep fluty sounds with the SE, and ended up with 5 silver(1 '47 Washington, 2 Mercs('26, '45), 2 Rosies('53, '61)), and about 6 Wheaties. Last week at nearly the same area of the park, I was able to find 2 Silver ('47D Washington, 1 '56 Rosie), and 6 Wheaties. I left them "biting" today, and headed home to beat the freeway traffic. Note: the scratch across one of my mercs was not caused by my initial recovery, but by my second recovery from the garbage disposal sink drain. :laughing7:

I can't wait to try for 13 for 13!!

Great finds, hope your silver streak lasts along time. Just a question is it the detector and coil, or location and research? Here's to #13 tru #113 :occasion14:

Thanks, willpond! I'd say it's a combination of everything. You put a detectorist who knows his machine with the above stated factors, and more times than not, success will be achieved.

Thanks, Weasel!! The Pro Coil is a solid coil! I had been previously over the same area of the park that I used my 1050 coil at a few months ago....I found 5 wheats that time....this time, 5 silver.

He's been receiving my text messages after each silver I dig. If I continue those texts another week, I think he'll be calling in sick to get a day off!! :P

I think the Sum Yung Guy was actually Feline Foo Yung.

If GA is too busy just fly me out to sunny Calif, and I'll fill in on the video shoots for him. :thumbsup:

I watched that Michael Douglas movie "Falling Down" last week and thought of you when he was walking through that busy Calif park.

Thanks, Civil. I will have to get a video of that especially for you!! I will use all my silver from last year too for the "Big Drop". I'll leave the semi and key dates out of the fall...wouldn't want any unnecessary damage to occur.
