My wife was having a get together with some women from our church and had instructed me to do some extra cleaning around the house! So I was getting some dust off of a piece of furniture and took some things off the top and underneath was 10 crisp 100.00 bills...........I called her and asked her if she remembered staching any money in the house!! I think it had been there awhile because she didn't remember it right away!!! She's calling it our vacation money now though!! I guess it could not really be classified as treasure hunting, but the sweating part (working) is about the same as being on one of my dry runs (not finding anything)!!!! You guys are nuts!! The one thing I thought about when I called her and asked about the money was that she kinda hesitated.........to me, it was almost like she had more stuff hidden elsewhere in the house!!!! My mind was moving, couldn't help it!!

That is so much fun, finding stashed money. A couple of months ago, I bought
an old 1970's era, pair of knee high fashion boots. I was putting some shoe trees
into the boots, and I unzipped one boot and there was $282.00 rolled up in the toe
area. Needless to say, I was PUMPED! I also know of a manager of a thrift store
that told me one of his employee's found $8000.00 stashed in a cowboy boot.
I think I would have heart palpitations if that happened to me!!

The ol ball and chain tried to stash $2500 about six years ago. I stole it put it in a CD and now it's close to $3200.I don't think she knows it's gone. If your going to work for money make the money work for you in return. Why collect dust when you can collect interest.
