Does anyone know if these are silver? I get conflicting stories on the internet. Sure looks silver and it has no date that I can read.

This is what I found......

60% silver, 30% copper, 10% Zinc

Issued between 1957-1958 (Date corrected)

Each coin contains roughly 2.88 grams of silver

It’s just what I expected to find in the woods of Massachusetts, beats a clad quarter I suppose
