100-Plus UN-Marked MRAPS Deploy To Camp Grayling; FEMA Camps Prepare For Civil Unrest

TheRingFinder:

I'd be more than happy if people here saw me for what I post. I believe what I write and back it up with facts - links, documentation, etc. I don't call people names and I don't attack others. I respect fellow members of TN.

Some people try to twist and spin some of my posts. Happily they are in English and easy to read.

Just how is it being a "bully" to point out the Nazi accusations are in remarkably poor taste?

Or is it that some opinions are OK here but not others? Is that it?

Good luck to all,

Such Nazi accusations and references are in remarkably poor taste. Some 400 Rabbis wrote Glumm Bleek, suggesting he cut it out and stop with trivializing the Holocaust.

I couldn't agree with them - and you - more.

Good luck to all,

~The Old Bookaroo

And I couldnt agree with you more. It is offensive on a level beyond that of just being "sensitive".

And yet the post is still there and the poster has not apologized or given our heartfelt comments any thought.

But I thought you all believed that Nazi's were only a right wing phenomenon? What bothers you about it now?

It was directed to those of us who support our President.

Where you "whining" when you expressed your unhappiness with a perceived slight?

There's a double standard here.

Good luck to all,

Gah quit whining, try being called a communist, and had you read what RJC said you would see that smiley was to obummer, not you.

Mike

:laughing7: Part of the misinformation is misdirection. They have to be upset about something,, it makes a bigger impact to more people than just the extremists. They hope it carries enough weight in the end to change the discussion. Maybe RJC struck a nerve?

I agree, and even emailed the mod about it. No response at all.

Here they come Mike!! The offended crowd is about to chime in!

I don't know what's going on at Camp Grayling but Bobby Powell is a few bricks short of a load to say the least.

That's the best part about the first amendment, even unpopular speech is to be tolerated and accepted..want a great lesson on it, watch a movie that's a true story.
The people versus Larry Flynt...you'll like it.

I absolutely agree with you! It's easy for all of us to support statements made by others (or by ourselves) that we agree with!

However, here on TN we are all members of the same group. We don't have to always agree about everything to treat each other with respect. And to respect the views and opinions others have.

The fact that we don't agree on everything doesn't make the others bad Americans or people who don't love the US Constitution. Have you watched the tapes of the Kennedy-Nixon debates? Those two gentlemen agreed on what needed to be done - they disagreed on how it could get done. They respected each other (both saw combat in WWII).

My contempt for the Rev. Fred Phelps and his ilk is boundless. Does he have a right to do and say what he does?

Yep.

Good luck to all,

does anybody have a backbone any more?what ever happened to ,speak your mind, speak the truth, it appears that if you dislike what is said ,then people must be labeled fanatics,or you must feel that (something has to be done)and run to tell somebody, this crybaby crap sickens me,this is a manifestation of the real problem in society ,if (you) dont like it , then it must be changed, live and let live,or better yet live free and let live free, if ever what i say offends someone,no apologies , its my opinion, and last i checked i still have that (right)or wait didn't check today, maybe i don't ,my rights seem to be contingent upon whom i agree with.

I always strive to respect others, about the only time I can think of lately that I disrespected anybody is when that guy suggested or called me a communist, in that type of situation, I will not respect somebody, but I should, had I not responded the way I did, it would have made me the bigger man, and I did the one thing I have been preaching against for years online...I fed a troll, if you don't feed them, eventually they crawl back under their bridges and cry that they failed to get a rise out of somebody.
To be honest, I would love to have a beer with most of you guys/gals on here, as I know you are as passionate as I am, I love a good debate...rambling now, haldol and the thorazine are turning me into my avatar...arrr need to find me some buried zombie pirate treasure.

With all due respect, I suggest you were not called a Communist. I'm not trying to tell you how you should feel - I'm offering an opinion here. Crispin was trying to make a point about your post. But I've never seen him (her?) call people names here.

I would certainly agree with you that I'd happily have a beer with many of the folks here.

You're up in Michigan - have you ever looked for any bootlegger caches? The Great Lakes Maritime Institute (that's the one in Detroit, right?) had an exhibit on Prohibition that included a map of the routes taken to bring liquor into the US from Canada.

Anyone who has read KvonM's THM #6 or #7 would lick his (or her) chops over that document.

Good luck to all,

I second that statement, but only one issue, the first amendment does not actually apply here, since it is a privately owned site and not public, as long as the mods are unbiased and neutral, free speech is probably OK, but not attacking anybody, its easy to see not all the mods are neutral, so that in its self creates conflict, sad but true...but that's their choice.

back to the thread topic ,if a government policys/actions, divide a nation to the point of civil unrest, perhaps civil war,why isnt there some measure of reason ,to say that this is going to cause destruction of our nation, going to cost lives, inocent lives, does this agenda still have merit if it causes this, if you say yes, then i will call you a treasonous, terrorist bast#$%@,because you feel this is the way regardless of lives affected,or lost , to what end?(your view)?this is arrogance rising to the level of criminality!
