$100 in Ikes, no Silver, Going back to the Bank

Went to the coin shop to buy a gold coin with my MDing money. Asked what a common Ike is worth. A dollar he replied. I have $180 I am getting rid of tomorrow. I picked up 5 rolls today. I had high hopes for some silver but NOT. The other $80 I picked up loose over the last few months. Hey, asking got me 1 - 1883 Morgan out of $180 so I'll keep asking

I would love to find a morgan in some ikes. I bought a roll of 70 a while back all ikes no silver.

I bought me a 1910 GEORGE V BRITISH SOVEREIGN GOLD COIN with my MDing money to toss in the vault. It weighs 0.2354 oz. 0.916 fine. It's about twice as big as a 5 peso Mexican. Time to swing that thing and start saving for another. Coinmetamorphis, I think that's it.

You might want to check ebay to dump your Ikes. I've seen 25-coin lots go for $1.40 to $1.50 per coin. Some not quite so much but still a lot better than face.

I will take a look. Right now I have them on Craigslist for $25 for a $20 roll. $1.25 each. You never know.
