Must have been blown out to sea and then washed ashore fairly recently. Spent 3 hours looking for more of them by tracing patterns in the winds and tide, but this was the only one I found. Thought I would find the source as a briefcase full of thousands of them, but all I found after 3 hours was a few pennies, a quarter, and half of a one dollar bill.

That's awesome. I love it when that happens.
I found one once a few years back, right in the middle of a busy four way intersection as i was waking five blocks on a 2:00 am beer run.
I usually regret those early a.m. beer runs, but not that night.

Ya know, just as you see people walking around not looking ahead but instead having their eyes glued to their "smart" phones, I'm almost as guilty in habit of "eyeballing" the ground whenever I'm without a detector. Years of habit, and here we have one eyeball find of a $100 bill, very cool. I did find a $100 bill one time, but it was from Hong Kong. Lucky find UnderMiner, hope you have many more of those, heck, I hope we ALL do.

I found a million dollar bill blank on one side I thought it was a hundred Great find my turn next

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using TreasureNet.com mobile app

When I first saw it I thought it was fake but when I picked it up it was clearly real with holograms and everything. It was clearly not in the water long but had for sure washed in from the ocean as it was wet and the sun was drying it out along side the seaweed. Went looking for the source but never found it. Maybe somewhere is a huge stash of $100 bills.
Me and friend tekkering one day, run up on 3 guys and a gal...... The waters and waves were real rough and one of the guys had just jumped in and lost his wallet.
It was impossible to find in the churning waters....... :BangHead:
I know the spot where he lost it :notworthy:
I'm just waiting for it to get uncovered by all the sand and fall back out....... :icon_thumleft:
He said there was over $1000 in that wallet in cash....... That was a yr ago.......
still waiting for that wallet....... :laughing7:

Ya got a good eye for snagging the finds that lay in wait for you to get them, congrats on the latest find.

I left a casino near Vegas several years ago with my ex wife. I went to get my truck and picked her up. As we drove through the parking lot, I slammed on the breaks and pointed under another vehicle and yelled " GRAB THAT!!! " It was a wad of bills folded in half that was just under $300.00!
Of course, I had to give her half.

I think its cool that u found 2 paper bills, The $100 Rules of course . There may have been a few more 'Bills' floating around out there .

Or someone begged the wrong guy for his $100 back, So they threw him in with the $100 + $1 for luck.

Hope a body don't wash up.

Man my Wifes right ; I think some crazy stuff.

You always find the coolest stuff at that beach of yours! 🤑

Hey, I lost that when i was fishing, i can ID it to prove, it was green and had a 100 on it. LOL Nice!!

Nice! New bills are so hardy. Not surprised it floated around a while and still looks crisp.
anyone want to test the theory of how tough a $100 bill is?!

When DB Cooper parachuted out of that hijacked passenger jet he lost one of his stolen cash bundles - all $20 bills. The stack of bills stayed in nature for nearly two decades floating down in a river before it was found by a boy on a camping trip, most of the bills were still intact enough to read both serial numbers - which is all that's needed to make the bills still perfectly legal tender. My point is cash bills may be found many years after being lost and still have their full value even if severely degraded by nature so always keep eyes out for that green paper. :occasion14:

May have been a drug deal gone sloppy. Some of the drug boats can go through rough water. Did you notice any Coast Guard boats??:skullflag:

Not a grain of sand or fleck of seaweed on it. Strange.

No. But it is not unusual to find cash bills in this area of water. I have found 3 $10 bills in same area this year on separate days on different hunts, $1 bills are also common all the time in various state of decay as the one in my main post shows. I think the tide just brings them in from the city maybe there is a current that flows here with the bills. There is also lots of garbage like wrappers and grocery bags and chip bags- lots of them - a sign that stuff is being blown out to sea from high density area and washing up all in this one spot.

Did DB Cooper live?

If I recall right ,they say none of the S# bills never surfaced.
But
That was some years back.

Guess my 1st ? in the Big One.

When lost in a parking lot environment single bills wont last to long depending on the weather .

I found $1 last Fall 'You could barely read both sets of Numbers' had Mildew Stains w/ flaking.

BOA .Really did not want to exchange it , they would not have if I did not have an Account.

I once found a Wallet at my Lake Spot , It had about $30 in fives Stuck together, they all fell apart when I tried to remove them.

UM You ever try to turn in eat up Zinc Cents. It Fun Fun Fun. lol
