10 Silver, 77 Wheats!! A Week's Worth...

Hello Everyone,

Wish I had something spectacular to show all of you, but I'm still happy that I'm finding silver coinage in hard-hit areas of a couple of good producing LA parks. Some of the silver were in hard-packed dirt on a hillside, while others were 7-9" deep in the turf. A couple were actually only a few inches under the soil, probably from gopher activity.

My SE is working flawlessly, but my original X1 probe has been going berserk. I decided to get a new one, and what a difference a new probe makes.

There's been so many great finds on Tnet. Everyone is doing fantastic!

Thanks for looking!! Keep the Passion High!!

HH,

Dan

You probably already mentioned this ~ but I'm curious! What's your silver count for the year now?! Do you keep track of your Wheats through the year, or do you just count 'em all up at the end of the year?

Sweet finds, gotta love those Mercurys

HH, Ringfinder

Thanks, Ringfinder! I like those Mercs too. I seem to be finding more of them than the Rosies this year.

Really good finds Capt. That's a lot of digging. Keepem coming.

Thanks, Tim. Good luck to you!!

That's a load of wheats. Great work on that silver. HH
JDD

Thanks, JDD! I usually average around 5-8 wheats per silver per hunt. One day, I found 25 wheats and no silver. >:(

Well, looks like you had a highly productive week...Congrats on the Silver and Wheaties. HH Capt

Thanks, wyattrr! Very productive indeed!!

Great dig! ... I can only imagine all the clad that SE must find....

SEMPER FI

Thanks, Marine09666!! Yes, the SE does find lots of clad too, but I pass on the shallow zinc pennies, memorials, and clad dimes. I dig all deep coin hits, in addition to quarter signals. Shallow silver sounds identical in tone to clad quarters, but ID's a little different on the Smartscreen.

Thanks, trhunter1 and Allen!!

Yo, Kirk, thanks buddy! Yep finally broke down and bought another probe. What a difference. ::)

Keep the passion high, my friend from PA.

Thanks, Hunter!

Neil, I'm not keeping a running counter online of my silver/wheat counts this year, but my running totals this year are around 110 silver and 600-700 wheats.

Thanks again!!
