Pretty huge cent score today. Vault manager told me someone brought in their grandfather's penny rolls from the basement. Ten rolls had 499 cents from 1983 or older...lone 2010 was the oddball. Filled 4 holes in my wheat book. Inventory list for this haul and pictures below (NEW FINDS):

1916, 1917, 1919, 1927, 1930, 1936, 1936D, 1939, 1940, 1940D, 1941(x3), 1942(x3), 1944(x4), 1945(x2), 1945D, 1946(x3), 1946D, 1947D, 1948, 1949D, 1950D(x2), 1951D(x5), 1952, 1952D(x6), 1953D(x4), 1954D(x2), 1955D, 1956D(x5), 1957D(x6), 1958D(x30)

If I counted right, that means I have 78 of the 140 wheat set now.

Very nice!

I love finding old wheat cents. Something very similar happened to me very early on in my ‘crh career’ where I picked up a bunch of cwr from my CU, and several rolls were loaded up with wheats, just like you’ve described here. Awesome find sleepy!

Sleepy: great catch in the wild, that's the way the hobby works. Just never know when or where. Congrats.

Wow amazing condition great score too bad he didn't dump silver unless the banker cashed in on em lol

Great find, have to love wheat fields ;-)
