Hello pepperj !
I had very busy day and hunting could only be an hour before it was made at night .... but I am very pleased with the medal, on one side shows the Virgin Mary and the other to flee the family of Christ to Egypt on a donkey. These medals square are typical of 17th century.... has more than 300 years old.
also I have this thing that looks like a U.S. coin or maybe 19 century is a token ..... on the front is represented Madrona with a tier that makes Liberty. ??? this would be my first coin / token of U.S.A found in Spain .... but a little worn. :-\
Greetings!

yes! Is right is like a large Cent of 19th Century of U.S.A .pero century with some letters next to the date that I can not distinguish between.
possibly it is a token and not seen as any large cent with letters next to the date. the back is completely deteriorated.
I can not take a better picture of the coin was found in a agricultural field and has been damaged by fertilizer .... is not normal to find a Large Cent in Spain ,is the first one found here.

and created a new special post ,this Token has already been identified by Bramblefind, this is a Spiel Marke made in the 19 th century in Germany for the U.S. market, but ended up in Spain:

Great medal and coins H. Can you hunt most of the year in Spain? HH, Quindy.
Hello VOL1266-X !
The Most coins here is coppers of the 17th century, 18th and 19th (they are everywhere.)
The Reale, Roman coins and medieval hammered not so abundant, but I have some.
These days I am doing a complete inventory of all coins found in three years, not counting the beach, only the oldest coins 100 years.
Greetings! :hello:

Another stellar hunt HISPAN.
