The National Mall, Washington D.C.

Calling all Gun Owners and Patriots you are cordially invited to attend the first 2nd Amendment rally at The National Mall in Washington D.C. on Saturday May 25th 2013 at Noon Eastern Time (Tentatively Pending Sponsors). We are hoping to attract up to 10 Million Gun Owners/Patriots to the National Mall for a rally to show our support for the 2nd Amendment. The 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects and insures the right of the people to keep and bear arms.

Once we have secured the venue we will confirm the date and time. This is a grass roots endeavor so any national celebrities that would like to help please contact us at the e-mail address below.

The United States Supreme Court has ruled that the 2nd Amendment protects an individual right to possess and carry firearms.

What's everyone's best guess on sponsors? Pepsi or coke??

Just my opinion but I believe any vetran past or present that chooses to march should be allowed to do so at the front of the line.. They protect this land and our rights they should be allowed to lead us in this battle too..

There is actually a good history of vets leading marches on DC and a sad history of how the Feds responded. Check out the history of the bonus army for those of you who are not familiar.

Sounds like that are looking for celeb participation. Who is your top gun toting celeb choice - besides Unc Ted?? Chuck Norris, the Governator??

Ok, who is going?

Who is going ?

well, I won't be there. I gotta sit here and make sure the net doesn't go awry. It's a rough job, but someone has to do it.

Ok, who is going?

Who is going?

Red bull or mt dew?

Or do you think the cheap beer manufacturers will rush to support?

Ok, who is going?

I would love to see it happen and I would go. Problem is I wonder who is going to get the permits, etc. That last business about the "million armed man march" made all the folks who talked it up on this forum look like jerks since NOTHING ever became of it. Why do you need sponsors?? The women's rights demonstrations in DC in the 80s didn't have any corporate sponsors and they had a half milloin people show up. The anti-war and civil rights marches didn't have any corporate sponsors and they had huge turn-outs. I think the only group who can make this happen is the NRA. Why don't you contact them about organizing such an event?? They can afford it and since many gun owners belong it would be easy to get a good crowd. Do you have any idea of the logistics involved?? There needs to be hundreds of porto-sans, local chapters and gun clubs will need to charter buses to get people there. Pulling off mass demonstrations requires a whole lot of organizing to make it happen. We need the NRA to lead!!

Thats a great question, seems like the NRA is happy to sit back and whip up the fear and collect everyone's dues and donations.

NRA...? LOL! THEY are well paid LOBBYISTS; they CAN'T "lead". It would be a "conflict of interest".
