10 Dollar Bill from Brazil ?

I have no idea how i got this bill from Brazil I tried google and had no luck
Can someone tell me what year this was made ? ? On the bottom of the bill it
has American Bank Note Company..... does that help with dating it ?
If it is worth 10.00 in Brazil what is it worth in the US Any collector value ?

Brazil discontinued the cruzerio around 1994 i think and replaced it with reals. They might have had previous bouts of hyperinflation between the 60s and 94. so this is not the same as the current brazillian currency. Not sure if the old money retains any value or can be converted like German marks can be exchanged into euros.

if these were reals, it would be worth a little less than $5 bucks.
