I got out for 2.5 hours today. biggest find was a smith and wesson revolver not too badly rusted I could read springfield mass on the barrel. 2 lbs of sinkers,2 ships spikes,2 fishing lures, and the longest brass screw I have ever seen. the slotted end is knurled and reminds me of the screw that holds the air cleaner to the carburetor on old engines.

this thing was so fun to find, I dont care if I get it back or not. I think I will though. over the years I have dug 18 .38 special rounds 3 .38 special wadcutters,6 .357 magnum all live . 1 live colt .38 11 shells, 47 fired .38 slugs, not to mention a host of other calibers. it was either on the fish tug that sank or was thrown in the water , or possibly found in the water fired a few times and thrown back as the cops arrived. who knows, but it sure was fun.
