Found a field that won't be drilled until Spring, near an Abbey, but only had 1.5hrs of daylight left.

Livery Button
19th C Spur (near complete)
Thought I found a broken Fibula but just modern junk!

A Saxon looking Strap-end, which at this point is a mystery. I can only exclude early Saxon (6th-7th C), could be middle-Late Saxon but this type is not in any books I have & can't find on the internet. It has a Dragon looking face but is very short, thick & heavy, not like anything I can find. Its not of a typical Viking Style, but I'm wondering if its a strange import.
