We went to the grass banks that are just above the village again, and had our most exciting dig to date! Lots of trees here and I got a great signal, but it was coming from a spot between the roots, so called himself over and he managed to wiggle it out it was pinched between the actual roots...
So today we tried a new field, it was a gorgeous morning for a walk, which was good, as we found a button and this Pheasant Badge, obviously not super old, but pretty cool. So we headed off to one of our favourite fields and did a bit better!

Wow, what a day! New field on the opposite side of the valley. We spent the morning having a look around as lots going on here. We have the Roman Road going thru, so went there first, but the grass was super long, and an electric fence running along it, so we came away and put it on the to do...
So we managed a couple of hours on the windmill site last night! Conditions were perfect, what a joy to be able to do this here! xx

So our favourite fields have at last been planted, so had to come Up with a new field, so choose this one, it is just outside the village, and is said the have once been the site of a wind mill… so we gave it a go!
