Hi all,
I have this interesting bowl/dish that looks like it might be some kind of metropolitan slipware. It is unmarked and my research brings up 1970s studio pottery as a possible match. From the design I'd say it looks quite English, but it's hard to find any similar that aren't redware...
Does anyone know anything about this bowl. It appears to be a very flexible pewter bowl about a foot 12" across and has "CHINA" etched in the bottom. Please help. I will post for spoon.
Went to the train tracks today. Found a little grove of trees by an older house. Fist beep was super loud... up came this neat old wheel! Is it an old pram wheel? How old do ya think it is? There was tons of chunks of iron everywhere so I quit. But next year I'll go back with a good detector and...
Found this really neat bell at an older playground. It was sitting in the sand where the structure was... how did it get there??? Maybe a kid was playing with it and lost it there...? It was only halfway buried. How old do you think it is?
Hey everyone!

Hello all. Glad to be here. I recently picked this early piece up. Looks to be a cruet caddy, and likely 18th century Italian creamware. The title has a typo, 18th not 17th century. The marking on base is very much like the Capo di Monte crown or the predecessor which I forget the name of. But...

In this video, my intentions was to find the site where a old saw mill was, turns out I found more than just lumber scraps under the waters of the pond.
Your subscription to my channel will be highly appreciated! Thanks fellow detectorist.
Hi there, Im new to this site.. looking to get some info on a Biltmore Estate engraved spoon I have here. I picked it up at a local yardsale about 10 years ago..I have tried looking online for some information on it, but I cant seem to find another one just like it. Any help would be...
Dug these old bottles up in a creek bed yesterday. Both say Duraglas.
Based on a previous post on here, I know the Diamond IO symbol means
It was made by the Owens-Illinois Glass Company.
The 7 to the left of the Diamond IO symbol on the brown bottle indicates it was made in Alton, Illinois...
Hi all,:hello:
I'm new to this forum and hoping you guys can put me out of my misery by helping me identify this lovely old bell. Having spent weeks trying to research and identify the makers marks and the unusual symbol (star?sun?) :BangHead: I really need a second pair of eyes on this one...
I found this nail today off of a hiking trail that I've found many late 1800s items around. I've looked over several online nail identification resources but haven't seemed to have been able to find a diagram/picture of one specifically like this. Help from someone more knowledgeable would be...
Hello!
I could use some help identifying this antique doll. I know literally nothing about dolls, so ANY information is greatly appreciated. Time period/possible maker/country/doll type. Typically doll height with bisque, porcelain or ceramic head, atoms and legs. Hair style from the 1930s or...
Hello Fellow Treasure Finders, Seekers of the Grail, Legends of Past Present and Future Treasure Discover History Etc. ; I need a hand identifying this makers mark, age, value perhaps, and any other general information you have about the item.

I found this at a yard sale the other day and the person I was with told me it was on old whiskey jug. Can anyone confirm this? I can't find anything on the internet that resembles this. Also what is it worth?
This type of thread has probably been posted before, but I haven't seen anything along these lines for a while.
Post a picture of your tiniest bottles!!
Here are my smallest, an adorable cold cream jar I picked up at an estate sale and a little cutex bottle with a quarter for size comparison.
Hello everyone.
This is one of the two swords which I have got with me (inherited).
These two swords are in my family's possession for more than 250+ years, however I want to sell them a a good price.
This Tulwar is in its real shape,no pommel disc was with it.
Kindly suggest.
The woods that I found these in have been ridiculously thick with autumn olive for at least 30 years I'm guessing, so it's not likely that many people have ventured through lately, and it's even more unlikely that someone decided to stop and have a drink there. These are probably fairly old, but...
Hi All,
First time poster! I have recently started collecting (ok, hoarding) antique bottles. Last week my boyfriend went to an estate sale to a household that had THOUSANDS of bottles. Lucky for him (unlucky for me) I wasn't feeling well and I had to sit that sale out. Anyways..... he...
I am hoping to get some opinions from Treasurenet folks. I picked up this vanity hand mirror, marked sterling, at an estate sale. It was in a box full of metal junk. Anything in box was $1. I have always wanted to find an ornate sterling mirror, but not in this condition. It's pretty banged up...
Was out on a field/meadow today. Dug up a 1872 Newfoundland "largie" in one spot then dug a 1943 Newfoundland "smallie" in another. Today was a good day. :headbang::headbang::headbang:

Hello,
I'm new to this forum and would appreciate any help you can give me. This clock belonged to a wonderful family and the parents have recently passed and the kids were hoping to learn about the clock that sat in their family room for decades. It is 9 feel tall, in pretty good shape aside...
I have a locket ring that I picked up at a garage sale about two years ago for 50 cents. It looks to be made of some kind of antique metal or pot metal. The ring is the size of a quarter.. It's not marked. There are several small circles on the lower side of both sides of ring, however I cannot...
I bought two Dietz Lanterns at $3 each. I was surprised to see them at a garage sale because I usually see them at flea markets. The sellers were just putting out their stuff and didn't advertise it in paper. I happened to be driving by so I stopped in to browse around. I guess I was lucky to...
I bought this table runner, I think it is, because it was so unusual. I have tried to find out what all the symbols mean but honestly I'm not sure how it all ties in together. Measurements are 22 1/2" by 13". I would be very grateful to anyone's help.
Thank you!
All I can think of when I see this is that it's a flagpole topper but what's throwing me off is how it mounts.
It also has the appearance of a hood ornament.
Head to tail: 5.5 inches
Width: 4 inches
Weight: 1 lb - 3.4 oz
Any ideas?
THX - :blackbeard:
This ring was given to my mother by her mother and then to me as a gift for my girlfriend. I would really like to know if anyone recognizes this ring and knows/guess the other time of metal used for the prong setting. An approximate year would also be nice.
Hello, I need help identifying this vase I recently obtained. It only has one marking which is on the inside of the vase at the top(as seen in the picture), I also took a picture of the based although there isn't anything significant on it I believe. Please help identify it and maybe do a price...
Wondering if anyone can help me with this brass magnifier. It had no markings and the handle is made of an odd wood or shell. Came from an antique shop in Florida. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
