anybody have an idea as to what voltage is the best? I have various transformers from 1v-12v. I would think that higher voltage would work better, but can actually do some damage too.

WHydah,nice explanation of how to make electrolasis machine, I made mine in 2000 same as you make it. your resapie is a little different. I don't use as much lemon juice or salt but i'll try yours.I know my spelling's terrible.

I made one of these and have been using it a lot. I love it Thank you very much for this how-to I knew all these phone chargers would come in handy some day

Salt water works surprisingly well I tried a vinegar and water mix but it didn't do too well.

I tried it on a larger piece and it didn't seem to have enough balls with my 5v setup. Might have to try a larger volt setup for bigger objects.
