The pointy brass item at the top is the strap end from a mid-19th century Valise. (Note: That's mid-1800s, Not mid-1700s) See below.

Pretty good finds! That little buckle may have a patent date on it just above the 2 tines ( prongs ). Most of that style have one. That one will date to the civil war period or before. Tennessee digger

oh i know how fun it is to dig nice relics right off the porch. I Love watching what you all are finding, Great stuff.

I dug my last yard we just moved from for 7 yrs before we sold the place. My very first coin was a 1837 half dime, the last coin was a beautiful 1837 capped bust dime and with many coins and relics in between. So hopefully for you it just keeps getting better and better :thumbsup:.

AHHHHH......I think I'll take a walk in teh back yard and find some old stuff!! Thats great.... :D :D

I remember the first time I detected my yard , I came up with a brass horse bracelet the previous owners had Horses so that made sence....Plus plenty of other old goodies!! WTG my friend............
