1st RING OF 2015 AND IT'S A BEAUTIFUL GOLD WOMAN'S CLASS RING!
It was a beautiful day, had been digging a lot of pull tabs, foil, a little clad and a lot of can slaw. my wife had dug her first ring of the year minutes earlier, an 18k plated bling ring, and I was back to digging pieces of shredded metal of which was mostly a bright blue finish. I had a VDI number of 50 on the AT GOLD and was certain it was more of the junk. I had taken my glasses off earlier to keep them clean and was searching thru the plug when I saw the glint of blue. My first response was it was just more of the blue slaw when I realized that it was blue with gold. What a beautiful sight! My wife thought that I was joking around (don't know why) and finally came over to see. Talk about excited! it is from Hackett High school, 1992, and has Tania on the side of it. this is a small school about a hundred miles north of me and should be an easy return. The ring was mashed somewhat and I had to gently reshape it, wanted it to be ready to put back on when returned and we are in process for this. I am pretty stoked, what a great start!
