Yesterdays hunt was OK got about Three and a half Dollars of clad but the day before was more exciting. Went out detecting the day before yesterday and first thing off I got a G.W. silver quarter
OK here is the rest of this afternoons park hunt finds. Have a bit of a story on a few of the shiny ones. Some young man came over and asked "Have you found much?" my reply was "A little bit" he went away for a while and then he returned and on talking to me again he casually mentioned that I should try detecting over in a certain area. I went about my business for a while before heading over there. I finally headed over there and he then made sure I found the nickel. Later he talked to me again and he mentioned that he "Was nice like that making sure people found something." I gave him a hearty "thank you!" Oddly enough on looking at the coins later on at home it became obvious this was an unusual coin since it was a significant date coin for me and was in perfect condition with mint luster and brilliant shine and no signs of wear, WOW seems unusual getting a coin planted like that. Now thats what I call "DejaVu"!
Later that day after supper I went out for a short hunt was driving towards a well hunted out site and noticed a neighbor was out he doing some yard work. So I checked in with him to see how things were and he gave me the O.K. to hunt. So I did get a short hunt in there. Here are the goods.
Darn the picture wont upload. Will try putting it in a reply.
