I'd say not gold unless it's a Very Low Grade.

10 or 8 K

I'm going by Dullness

But Very Cool Find !

Looks like it to me. Can't wait to see it cleaned up and the others as well.

Congrats!!

;) RR

Do I win it if my guess is right? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'll give a hint, I had to take a hammer to my digging knift to get it out, it was at least 7" down.

THIS IS JUST FOR FUN.

I'v never seen Dirt stick to good Gold like that does,
& I'v found Many Gold rings.

I'll go as far as to Guess H.G.E.

You might have missed this one, it's 18k. I'm not saying it is or not, remember the gold we ware is alloyed, not pure.

Nice rings Ant, congrats and keep em coming.
I did not see the answer to the first one, maybe I missed it but
I think it is plated not real (although, I hope it is real!)
because I think I see see some flaking in the plating.
Plus the gem prongs don't seem very robust like they normally are on gemstone rings.

I think the one you found today with the amethist is 14k or 18k
as it has some intricate craftsmanship that I wouldn't expect to see on a plated ring.

Cool post!

Smiles!

Those are amazing rings you found. Where all three rings at the same spot? Thanks for sharing such great pics of your wonderful findings.

My GUESSES on the ring 7" deep is GOLD, not plated.

Your last photo posted (last one prior to this post) is gold plate.

For your sake, I'm hoping they are BOTH 14k or more. Great photos, as usual.

What detector do you use for finding these rings?

Hey a ring is a ring, and not too many found, so great pics and thanks for posting. Pretty soon, to dig a find like those in my neck of the woods, you'll need a jackhammer,Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr, cold weather is coming.
