If the Templar Treasure was Found now what happens

I think you would agree Gary that many passages of the bible are open to interpretation.

Maybe not on the gays, but certainly here, in Revelation, the most confusing book of all.

11:19 And there was opened the temple of God that is in heaven;

I choose to interpret this as meaning the temple of Jehovah who art in heaven. Hallowed be his name.

Eldo there is really only one solution. We need to load up the shovels and wheelbarrows into the ol' GMC and go find the Ark before the Laginas do (they are still following the corn trail so it shouldn't be too hard).

Once we find it, we will use it's power to vanquish the evil zionist regime and become the new kings of the holy land (dibs on the West Bank.)

I just cut and pasted all that from a conspiracy website......we all know the govt is there to help......themselves to the treasure

Long time ago a guy called Ron Wyatt said he had found the Arc... this is an old argument .....no Biblical Scholars see that verse as you read it.. respectly, nor do i .
Gary

Ron might have found a replica of the Ark made to conceal the whereabouts of the true Ark, the one that has real power.

I'm sure there's at least one biblical scholar who agrees with me Gary ;)

Here is my Templar theory.

It is important to start this story with the Essenes. The Essenes were a sect of second temple Judaism who lived in Qumran from around 300 BCE to around 400 AD. They are responsible for the creation of the dead sea scrolls. The Essenes were a community of high priests who's main purpose was to shelter the Ark when the temple of Solomon was compromised.

One of the scrolls found in Qumran was inscribed on a piece of copper. This copper was tested in a lab and it was revealed that it was the purest copper ever found on our planet. The message had been inscribed in copper to ensure the survival of it's message. The main subject of this scroll is the Ark of the Covenant.

The scroll describes the coming of the Ark to the Essenes,as well as other details such as the 64 components of the Ark, including which incense had to be burnt and what oils had to be worn, etc.

The scroll pointed to a cave nearby where the Ark had been kept. At the unsealing of the cave there were NASA scientists present, to observe whatever strange phenomenon was inside. When they opened the cave there was a strange blue mark on the wall. Some of the archaeologists stated that it was the same kind of weird blue mark that had been reported in the Mayan pyramids.

Archaeologists have dug up a lot of the "components" of the Ark nearby. These components are also mentioned in the Bible.

The next part of this story involves the Cathars.

The Cathars were a Jewish group living in France during the 11th century who believed they were the descendants of Emanuel. This was a large Jewish community living in the centre of France and no one knows how they got there.

The Cathars were looking for the Ark. So they created the Knights Templar to look for it.

They convinced the French army to take Jerusalem because they were convinced the Ark was buried beneath the Temple of Solomon. And in doing so started the crusades. While stationed in Jerusalem, the Knights Templar dug extensive tunnels into the foundation of the Temple, but they recovered only documents.

The King of Ethiopia was in Jerusalem when he heard the Knights were searching for the Ark. He approached them and told them that he had the Ark, in Ethiopia.

The Ark had likely been moved to Qumran, and then up the Nile to Elephantine Isle (strange that Oak Island resembles an Elephant when mapped) and onward to Ethiopia when it was deemed the temple was no longer an option. It ended up eventually at the church of St. Mary of Tsion. Here is a picture of one of the giant obelisk-like stelae found on site: http://goista.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Axum-Tower.jpg

This Stelae weighs in excess of five hundred tons, and was raised with the help of the Ark according to the Ethiopian priest who guards the church.

There is a rich Jewish tradition in Ethiopia, as well as a plethora of evidence in both art and writing of Templar influence.

The Templars made a deal with the king of Ethiopia: In exchange for fighting for his country, the knights would be granted access to the Ark. The knights eventually convinced the king to let them take the Ark, as it would be unsafe in the wrong hands.

They brought it back to France, where they built the Chartres Cathedral and hid the Ark in a subterranean chamber beneath it. They moved it to the castle of Montsegur briefly when the Pope and the King declared the expulsion of the Templars, and then on to Scotland.

What happens after that is just speculation ;)

Lets start with the measureable. The Copper Scroll at Qumran was 99% copper and 1% tin, and also heavily oxidized (Cu20 - even less pure copper at that point). A copper sputtering target used in solar panel and integrated circuit manufavture is 99.9999% pure. Way more pure and still "on this planet"

The Copper scroll also did not mention the Ark of the Covenant at all. Unlest as "melt value" as it just describes the weight of gold, silver and other valuables at various sites.

Can't really comment on the rest as there is no historical trace to research. There are many conflicting theories. Last mentioned as being in the firet Temple of Jerusalem when Nebuchadnezzar destroyed it- about 586BC. Moses Maimonides wrote in the 12th century that Josiah had buried it under the Temple Mound, which is confirmed in a work called the Tosfta from the 2nd century AD. But if so it wasn't revealed during the time of the second temple (destroyed in 70AD by the Romans).

The Ark is certainly what the Templars were searching for during their first few years in Jerusalem. I personally doubt that they found it, but on the other hand its possible they did.

Maybe you find it, and the Great Templar Treasure was only a stash of money and jewelry. Not what everyone is expecting....(wink,wink) Something as powerful as what could be there has no business being in the hands of people who would use it for the wrong reasons. Just a thought.

It is my belief that the term "Holy Grail" actually comes from a need for secrecy in discussing the Ark of the Covenant.

Meanwhile, back at the OP - If the Templar Treasure was Found now what happens?

The finders (if anything is found) don't seem to have any legal claim to physical items.

This tells us that the investors in the search hope to recover by TV, movies, books and such rights and derivatives.

Right now they seem to be trying to get the TV revenue up to the point of at least break even.

If something is found, albeit all turned over to Canadian authorities (probably sole rights holder under antiquities/relics sort of laws), icing on the cake for rights and derivatives. Does anyone have the ownerships rights nailed down? Percentages for recovery/finders maybe?

The current search is designed as an entertainment event. Hardly matters is there is any treasure.

That's a very good question. If a treasure existed it would have been gathered either in the Holy Land or collections from the route. And historic precedent is things are not returned to original sites.

If it is "an Ark" it could be a copy. If it is the original it could bring plagues of fatal hemorrhoids like befell the Philistines and wipe out 80% of NE Canada; and eventually someone would notice that.

If it has any real commercial value the Canadian Gov't will pounce on it and tax the socks off them - after taking the % off the top. If it has great historical value it will likely be seized. They should have listen to Charlie Miller/Karl vonMueller. Shhhhhhh.
