Here is a small insight to the local situation

Aerial photos show Hurricane Joaquin's devastating path | Daily Mail Online

Every little bit can help, and I'm sure that Kevin will probably help his neighbors too. That's just the kind of guy he is. Please PM BVI to help.

I am reaching out to Kevin's UK family to see if any news....

just had word from Kevin, not so much as a chat but a burst of SMS that I assume just made it out - he is alive and well :notworthy:

Sadds had 120+mph winds for a few hours then just over 100mph for another 12 hours straight.

He had to hold a span of panels from pushing in for 10 hours. still cut off by water and little power.

I asked if he was Ok and he said he was helping to old ladies who lived alone - typical!

You can PM me for the link if you would like to help

BVI, thanks John. That Big Lug had me worried.
That's the 3rd piece of great news I heard today.

Thank God he's safe.

When I posted the original video of the flooding on Long Island, I knew things would turn out for the better. I look forward to the first post from Sads himself.

No further word from Kevin, but we know he is safe.

He probably has a whole world of drama to deal with which I know includes house damage and power / water issues.

will update when I can
