Apparently it's from the 1950s...that's pretty good long time in the sand.

OH MY GOSH....that's over 50 years old...this is an artifact of cultural heritage !! I'm mailing it in to the state with gps numbers !! Lol !!

Well..looks good enough to go into my jar with the other gold coins I've found over the years, the ones with "No Cash Value" and "Chucky cheese" and "Family Fun Center" and the gaming tokens, car vac. tokens, ice machine tokens, car wash tokens etc. a couple of hundred gold coins I'd guess in my gold coin jar. Now, had I found what YOU found underwater?, I might have drowned.

Bart,

Thanks for the chuckles....I've found a few of those circular chocolate gold colored wrappers that had me going also....:laughing7::laughing7::laughing7:

MAn I was clicking faster than the mouse could process... heh

Better luck next time... you just got F$^&ed ! ! ! :P

Had me wondering why it was looking like a road kill.:laughing7:

I have also found the "chocolate treasure" coins many times.

Here at some of the beach restaurants years ago they would have those to give to the kids... who then in turn... took them to the beach and lost it.

I might add...

I have eaten them many times. :)

NOT the ones that the ants had their melted orgy / way with first !

They also sold them in the tourist shops "Bag O Gold"... Etc etc etc.

The bags looked liked chunks of cast net.
