I have been looking for the shovel used in the following video and I think I've found it.

Tuffy and Tuffy Jr Scoop Shovels | Poly Pro Tools

http://media.mydoitbest.com/imagerequest.aspx?sku=717793&size=2&warehouse=C&newsize=600

Do it best hardware will ship it to your local participating hardware store free shipping for $30 and it looks like a easy mod and best of all you can scan the sand in the shovel

funny, shovel looks like the seat of a tractor with a handle on the end

I would like to get one myself.

Nice in sand, but what can it do in shells, clay or rocks . My Stealth digs throw all of it !!!

I agree watched it before and like that its poly for quick scans and lightweight. Now if it only came in EXCAL GREEN. I'm afraid it might clash ifn forest green!!:tongue3:

Thanks for the link!

It also comes in tan and red

after looking at it closer it looks like his is mod'd with a pointy nose and holes!

Bought my now and I think I will give it a swing for those long days!

That guy uses the shovel to pretty good effect! He makes an awful lot of digs and fairly quickly. Entertaining couple of guys, I watched some of their other video's. I already have my scoop so I think I will stick to that. I end up around an awful lot of rocks and whatnot.

Wouldn't be worth anything if your hunting in the water...........I will stick with a good scoop...

I picked up a Tuffy shovel from my local Ace hardware they had a coupon on line for 50% off one item so I got it for $15 including tax I will post a Picture before and after i modify it.

One must be the worst at pin-pointing to require a tool that excavates a crater.

I just finally started modifying scoop and for 12 bucks you cant beat it also as far digging a crater. Its like me telling my brother in law about trotline crabbing over hand lining in the Chesapeake Bay. His response was "Would you rather eat crabs or have fun" I found that they are both fun and you get to eat more crabs.

Those guys are from the Gold Coast up here in Aus, that nylon shovel is the type you find in food factories in the clean up areas, it is a modest attempt at a good shovel at best, totally useless in wet sand, and too much bending over in the dry. They have drilled those holes.

I will take a good beach scoop all day long over a shovel, any shovel....
