Ralph, aka Stonehunter here...

Hello!

My name is Ralph and I'm a retired Fed Gov Agency employee. My interests are; artifacts, fossils, rockhounding, primitive skills, hunting, fishing, kayak'n, canoeing, hiking, camping, woodworking, to name just a few!

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing your posts!

Welcome Ralph. You and the Mrs and have found the right spot to start your retirement adventures! We need to test drive that mustang! haha

How old were you when you retired? I worked on a PD for 25 years and retired at 51, 19 years ago. Lost my wife to cancer 4 months ago and now I am lost.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. But you're not lost yet - until you completely give up. 70 is pretty young around here, so get your duff off the couch, make new friends, and get right at it! You've life in front of you - when you're NOT wasting it.

Hello everyone, just joined and NA artifacts is my cost nothing hobby, lol. I am blessed to live in an area where artifacts can be found and I'm looking forward to sharing knowledge with everyone. My pic is from around 10 mor 12 years ago, so add some more white hair and about 30 pounds......

Welcome Dave to tnet!

Look forward to seeing you finds. Good Luck!

Well hello guys. My name is Steve Barclay. I got here a couple weeks ago looking for info on the late George Looneys collection. Got a warm welcome...well maybe hot would describe it better. Lol

Im 56 years old and have lived more in the last 20 years than most humans will ever live in a lifetime. The Good Lord saw fit to extend my life and I determined to live the amount I have remaining. We are all terminal and every day we have is one we are not promised.

I'm a retired retail guy. Professional hunting and fishing guide. Past movie star. Professional arrowheads digger. Semi pro billiards player(that's what they call the broke guy).

I have seen more paleo dirt than a hundred archaeologist. Caught some really big fish. Killed some big deer. Guided some giant alligator hunts. And yeah I have dug some arrowheads. Praise the Lord I plan to do something else fun tomorrow. Maybe ill share some here along the way.

Here goes nothing....I’ve made 49 trips around the sun so far. I hunt deer on my land and spend as much time outdoors as I can. Self employed contractor for past 20 years. Play some guitar as well. Do some gardening, love my maters’! Love my pets and now have this new hobby of searching the dirt in and around my place. Blessed in so many ways and thankful for this life. Love my little piece of nowhere East Kentucky hills

Nice brows on both of those studs. Awesome

Thank you, yes they are my two best thus far. Ones on the wall and one is at taxidermy. The bigger buck had the lesser rack, he was well over 200 lbs. had a time getting him on the quad and back to the barn by myself!!Hopefully I can keep the artifact collection growing to share the display area 8)

As we grow older it seems the rack on the 4-wheeler gets higher every year and the deer a little heavier. People think 200 lbs is not weight but it is when it is flopping around. Has CWD affected your area any?

No, not here in Elliott county. Pretty bad in counties close by though. Hopefully we don’t have any issues here.

I’m a bit of an artist, hunter, golfer, avid soccer fan, and watch collector from central Ohio.IMG_0638.jpg
