Seven chests near stump pass

Stump pass is a state park. Its a no no to hunt in state parks.

It,s out in open water.outside the state park of Florida .Yes the wreck itself is in the middle of the inlet of stump pass.

Plenty of wrecks off the coast of Vietnam. Every storm there's tons of ancient pottery shards washing up on the beaches.

Do you hunt wrecks there and is it less problem getting permits there for you guys.No matter what part of the World. We can target and pinpoint them all.

joska, thought you said you were staying out of Florida waters?

It appears the individual was beaten severely after he poked his head in the window of the car and asked,"How far is the old Stump Inn?"

LOL. Ok you got me, Capn Dom.

Here is the park.

Yes I did ,but that is why I,m passing it on to someone else whom might be very interested since I have all the information with gps numbers on all seven chest and just take a look in the moth of the inlet is where the wreck can be found that carried the chests and you can take that to the bank.

Hey Red ,just take a look in the mouth of the inlet to find the wreck that carried the seven chests.

At the mouth of Stump Pass is a long sand bar. That is the actual remains of the wreck bearing south to north. The ship came in sideways and as it tumbled over it spilled the gold chests.

I'd have to get the state park boundry set in Google Earth to see whether it is in or outside the park.

awesome and thank you for your time.

While I have no interest in Stump Pass, I did run across some resources for those who might be interested in Joe's site.

This rather cool paper with maps from 1884 to present in the back...worth the look for those who are interested:

Old thread about the same seven chests:

GOOD LUCK TO ALL

According to the map the park does not extend into the water.

Also looks like the mouth of the pass was farther up the island at the time of any alleged chests. Looks like current position of pass was closed in those days ?
