... today I found Poinsettias had been placed on every grave in the old section of the cemetery I recently restored. Apparently, it was not done by the church.

Hi crescol

I thought maybe December 20th had a special day of celebration?

1. Abolition of Slavery Day

2. Every year on December 20th, International Human Solidarity Day seeks to celebrate the word's unity in diversity. It's also a day to raise awareness about the importance of solidarity. Solidarity is defined as an awareness of shared interests and objectives that create a psychological sense of unity.

3. Last day of Fall

Nice work on the restoration.
Don in SoCal
That site looks wonderful.
All your hard work paid off there. Not only did you restore it but someone noticed your work and wanted to contribute to restoring their dignity as well.

Perhaps the historical society did it.
GREAT JOB !!! and THANKS !!
How nice of you to restore it and for the one to place a flower on each grave! Thank you both!!
Looks great !
Just beautiful, thanks for sharing that!
Thanks Everybody! Merry Christmas to you all.
