This year was another good one for me and my hunting friends Dman and Josh. My best finds of 2010 in order are:
1. A.V.C. Cuff button from 1863 Gen. John Hunt Morgan's Winter Camp.
2. 1830 Half Dime from same site on a different date.
3. Brass Cufflinks with floral motif dating from the late 1700s from same site on a different date.
4. 1866 dated Ten Centesimi 23 mm copper coin from Italy found while hunting a 1840s home in middle Tennessee.
5. Unusual bullets from a 1862 Gen. John Hunt Morgan Camp including picket bullets and a pin fire bullet in brass case.
The year was also productive in getting articles published in treasure/relic magazines. These included:
"Metal Detecting Myths-Fact or Fiction", "Civil War/Colonial Overlay Site Relics", and "Detector Shopping Tips" all published during the year in Western & Eastern Treasures Magazine. I had the honor of having my picture on the cover of the October issue of that magazine. Another article entitled "Chasing Gen. John Hunt Morgan C.S.A." was published in the Sept.-Oct. issue of American Digger Magazine along with the 1866 copper coin from Italy pictured in their "Just Dug" section. In Vol. 35 No. 1 2010 issue of North South Trader's Civil War Magazine, a brass saddle shield that I dug the previous December was pictured in "Recent field Recoveries". Dman helped with all the articles. This was certainly not my best year relic hunting but I felt it was productive as fewer relics are being recovered each year. HH, Quindy.

And I'm sure you will! I really need to find one of those AVC buttons for my collection.

Great finds buddy. It seemed like every magazine I picked up this year either had a picture of you or an article by you.
